Case Study
Digital Scale
Challenge:

MIMPACT Studio has designed the album art for a handful of PRIMO's releases, capturing the artist's unique brand and musical style in each design. We worked closely with the artist to ensure that each album art effectively conveyed their message and storytelling, resonating with their audience on a deeper level, by creating visually stunning and engaging album art that stood out in the crowded music market. We plan on continuing to provide album art for their future releases, supporting their success in the industry.

Impact:
  • Captured the artist's unique brand image and musical style in the album art, creating an instantly recognizable and memorable visual identity
  • Designed album art that effectively communicated the artist's message and storytelling, resulting in increased audience engagement and emotional resonance with fans
  • Produced album art that stood out in a crowded music market, attracting more fans

Design & Development

In contrast to our usual projects, our work on PRIMO's album art is marked by a higher degree of spontaneity and experimentation. This approach allows us to explore a variety of creative possibilities and produce unique artistic results. Our agreement with the client is straightforward: we receive a pre-release version of the song or album, which serves as our sole source of inspiration for the artwork.

This process is less about following a detailed brief and more about immersing ourselves in the music. We let the rhythms, melodies, and emotions guide our artistic vision, resulting in artwork that reflects the auditory experience. This relationship with PRIMO fosters a space where art and music merge seamlessly.

Compared to our other work, our work on album art for PRIMO takes on a much more spontaneous and experimental process, allowing for different creative results. Our arrangement with the client is that we are simply given a pre-release of the song/album, and are free to derive artwork from that alone.
